Beach and Tide Conditions
Great Exuma / Big D's, Bahamas is a Flat, Chop and Small waves spot. The launching/landing area is reported to be of Small size. Very narrow beach, partly sand and reef. Ok to launch on low tide, but for experienced riders on high tides only. Flat to choppy water. Small waves. Beautiful green and clear. Small reef island about 100m from the beach, also some reefs below the surface.
Need to know
When you are on water, be careful of Reefs . The is no particular rules reported , but as a best practice, talk to a local before you go on water.
Fly to George Town on Great Exuma. About 22 km north of the George Town center. There is only one main road. Park directly next to the beach on the small parking lot in front of the Big D's beach shack.
